By doing the same thing but adding the words “in the” instead it could mean you shouldn’t have sex with a man IN a woman’s bed, which would make sense as people used to do that in cult rituals. As well as the end, “it is an abomination” is better translated as “they will be cast out of society” (so the translations that say the people should be killed for it are ridiculously misworded) AND even if you INSIST on translating it that way, it says gay sex is wrong, not being gay in general.
